Matter, senses, geometry: with Mobiltesino, elegance takes centre stage in Milan

A refined and evocative stand and a new collection, signed by architect Domenico Sfirro: Mobiltesino’s presence at Salone del Mobile offers a unique sensory experience.

From 16 to 21 April 2024, Mobiltesino will be at Salone del Mobile in Milan, presenting a new collection through a sensory journey into the artisanal and refined soul of the Marche-based company.
The stand, designed by architect Domenico Sfirro, is indeed a corner of design where shapes and materials alternate to create something reminiscent of a refined theatrical set.

The stand is composed of simple geometric shapes, soft nuances, and precious materials such as wood, a defining element of the company that represents its past, present, and future.
To complement the porosity of wood, all the softness of the fabrics in the stand in the form of coverings, carpet, pouffes, and curtains.
The latter partially conceal, in a sophisticated play of transparencies, the five flagship products that will be previewed at the Salone. It is a never-before-seen reinterpretation of Mobiltesino’s historic Luxor line.
This reinterpretation, also by architect Sfirro, has been entirely designed in terms of materials and modularity through precious elements such as marble, metals, and new textures of Dorsum®, which, combined with one another, give life to many solutions capable of moving beyond the bathroom area and conquering other rooms of the house, such as the living area or the bedrooms.

In this regard, as explained by architect Domenico Sfirro, ‘we have also introduced another important element: wall covering. Specifically, they are boiseries that feature the same characteristic of the furniture door: a 45-degree cut where a central panel is inserted, which can vary according to the customer’s requests and the designer’s interpretations, satisfying the most diverse tastes and meeting multiple needs.’

The geometric shapes that characterize the stand also become decorative textures transposed onto the wallpapers, forming an exclusive dedicated collection, signed Mobiltesino.
